SaaS landing page mobile review: does your page work on a phone?
You wrote and checked the page on a laptop. Many visitors will meet it on a phone, where the headline wraps to six lines and the button sits below a banner. This page covers the constraints of mobile, a phone-screen checklist, and a $19 review that checks your page at phone width and returns 3 paste-ready fixes within 24h.
What the sources say
- Phones have built-in limits. Nielsen Norman Group lists the inherent constraints of smartphones: small screen, short sessions, single window visible at one time, and variable connectivity. Mobile design principles reflect these limitations and strengths.
- Speed has a target. Google's web.dev says that to provide a good user experience, Largest Contentful Paint should occur within 2.5 seconds of when the page first starts loading, measured at the 75th percentile of page loads, segmented across mobile and desktop.
We review copy and message order, not performance. If your page is slow, your developer can measure it with the tools web.dev describes.
Phone-screen checklist
- Open your page on a real phone (or at 375px wide in your browser) and look only at the first screen.
- Headline fits in 3–4 lines and still says the outcome. Long headlines that work on a laptop often wrap badly.
- The primary button is visible without scrolling and is large enough to tap with a thumb.
- Nothing covers the message: cookie banners, chat widgets and announcement bars shouldn't eat the first screen.
- Proof appears early: one line or logo row before the second scroll, since sessions are short.
- Short paragraphs and clear subheads so a skimming thumb finds what it needs.
- The form is short: ask for an email first, nothing you don't need to start.
- Test on a slow connection: if the headline or button appears late, say so to your developer.

What the $19 review gives you
We open your live page at phone and laptop widths and pick the 3 gaps most likely to cost you signups. You get 3 before → after rewrites (hero, CTA, offer or proof), each with a one-line reason and a metric hypothesis, ready to paste, within 24h of 1 BTC confirmation. No call and no account. See an example deliverable (excerpt from a public sample) or browse all public samples.
Honest limits: we don't test devices, measure load time or fix layout. If the real problem is speed or a broken mobile layout, we'll say so and point you to your developer.
You get a BTC invoice page with address, amount, a QR code and an open-in-wallet link. Work starts once payment is seen. Not sure yet? Ask for 1 free observation on /audit.
FAQ
Why review my landing page on mobile separately?
Nielsen Norman Group describes smartphones as having inherent constraints: a small screen, short sessions, one window visible at a time and variable connectivity. A page that works on a laptop can hide its button or bury its message on a phone.
How fast should a landing page load on mobile?
Google's web.dev recommends that Largest Contentful Paint, the time the main content appears, occurs within 2.5 seconds of when the page first starts loading, measured at the 75th percentile of page loads and segmented across mobile and desktop. Speed fixes are an engineering job; we only flag what in the copy and layout slows the message.
Do you test performance or fix layout bugs?
No. This is a copy review. We open your page at phone width and rewrite the 3 spots most likely to cost signups. We'll mention a layout or speed problem in the reason line when it hides your message, but fixing it is for your developer.
What should be visible on a phone without scrolling?
At minimum the headline, who it's for, and the primary button. See the above-the-fold review for the full first-screen checklist.
What do I receive for $19?
3 before and after rewrites for the highest-impact spots on your page, checked at phone width (hero, CTA, offer or proof), each with a one-line reason and a metric hypothesis, ready to paste, within 24h of 1 BTC confirmation. No call and no account.
